Born in New Mexico in 1933, he has lived most of his life in Arizona and now resides in Patagonia. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and earned a PhD in Behavioral Psychology under the GI Bill at the University of Illinois. After teaching at Pomona College and the University of Arizona for ten years he made custom furniture for thirty years. He is an avid tennis player, fly fisher and reader.view less
