For six years he worked as a fisheries biologist and for nineteen years he was co-founder and co-publisher/editor of Mid Atlantic Fly Fishing Guide magazine. He is now retired and living in upstate New York with his wife Mary Ann. His son, Jonathan, works in fisheries and his daughter, Amy, is a Montessori teacher.view less
