Del Newkirk’s first career was as an owner of Kentucky Fried Chicken and Wendy’s Restaurants. Newkirk’s second career was that of a volunteer raising millions of dollars for community projects. He is active in numerous Indiana University organizations and was the recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash Award from Governor Frank O’Bannon in 2003.
Today he manages the one hundred twenty five year old family farm and lives in Indiana and Colorado. This is his first book.view less
