Marion's unusual African childhood and several return trips to Chitambo were the inspiration for telling the story of Chitambo Hospital.
Marion qualified as a doctor at Edinburgh University in 1980 and is the Medical Director of Hospice Wanganui in New Zealand. She is married to Guy and they have two sons, Greg and Theo. She loves to travel, especially to Zambia, and enjoys travel writing.view less
