Raised by spiritual seekers, Renee is the oldest of seven Montessori-inspired children. Growing up in Northern California, she attended a yoga school based on the teachings of Parmahansa Yogananada, rode horses bareback and hiked in the vast wilderness of the Sierra Nevadas, and learned stained-glass window-making and philosophy from the Bhagavad-Gita. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, US News & World Report, Good Housekeeping, and more. She is the author of the award-winning The Mother's Guide to Self-Renewal: How to Reclaim, Rejuvenate and Re-Balance Your Life. Thousands of women in more than eight countries are joining and being trained to lead Personal Renewal Groups based on her work.
