They were a catholic middle class family. Dad, an immigrant from Germany, was a supervisor at a plant and worked hard for his family. Mom was a wonderful homemaker and took great care of her family. They live in a middle class neighborhood in Bridgetown, Ohio. Mark grew up with good family values and good friends in his neighborhood. All his brothers and sisters are very close and still live close to each other. When they were young, sometimes they fight and say things like, “I wish I was the only child”, but as young adults they start realizing what they have in each other, as you get older and it’s great. And Mark wouldn’t have it any other way. God blessed him with a great family. As a student in school he was average and was a little wild, but got through it. At age 19 he quit his job and sold everything, bought a nice car and did some traveling and saw other parts of this country. It was a great time in his life. When he finally came back home, he got back with his girlfriend and 1-½ years later got married. And two years later they had their little girl Jennifer. Sixteen years later, unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last. And seventeen years later still did not get remarried, and doesn’t know if he ever will. But Jennifer remains his priority in his & her life.
Jennifer is the oldest of 17 grandchildren.view less
