He has taught courses in twel...view moreEmilio Chuvieco is currently a Professor of Geography at the University of Alcalá (Spain) and correspondent member of the Spanish Academy of Sciences. He has taught courses in twelve different countries. He was a visiting Scholar at the Universities of Berkeley, Nottingham, Clark, Cambridge, Santa Barbara, Maryland and the Canada Center for Remote Sensing. He has written 300 scientific papers and 23 books on environmental applications of satellite Earth Observation, which is the main topic of his research. In addition to this, he is very interested in the dialogue between Faith and Reason. He has published two books in Spanish on these topics (Piénsatelo and Entusiásmate), and recently founded a publishing company focused on the dialogue of Christianity with contemporary society (www.digitalreasons.es).view less
