In 1980 he joined the Royal Air Force and served in the Falklands, Cyprus, Germany, and UK bases, including RAF Lyneham and Brize Norton.
Always keen on birds of prey, upon leaving the military, he became a professional falconer.
Through falconry he travelled extensively throughout South Africa, working for a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey and other wildlife.
Jeff now lives in Norfolk, East Anglia, with his wife and family.view less
