He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Lois, for 23 years and they dated for nearly 12 years before marriage. They have two children in college, a son, Jess, and a daughter, Katie. Jess is a mathematics education major and Katie is in the Special Education field.
Although this is David’s first script, he feels his best credentials being a first time writer are based on being born into a family of 14 brothers and sisters, and being blessed with amazing parents now since deceased.
Needless to say, he has been exposed to the best and the worst and everything in between in understanding exactly the struggles of what life brings in making a good honest heart in a person.
For these reasons, he has taken the time in his life to write not only some of his personal experiences from his past but also what he sees is occurring to the present date in regards to the mockery of sports across our country’s high schools. Therefore, he has dedicated this script to all sports, to everyone ever affected in the wrong way because of unfair politics that denied their special time in life.view less
