Her life long love of books and constant involvement in writing have led to this first published work of fiction. She is retired and now lives at the most northern point of the Shuswap Lakes in British Columbia, Canada. She has two children, five step grand children and one grandchild, Austin, he is the inspiration for this story. Helena is a strong believer in the need for all of us to become more ecologically aware and active in what we can do to help the planet. She is also a humanitarian and hope the book will inspire youngsters to do what they can for the earth.view less
