She spent most of her young life writing stories that never made it further than her scrap book, but excelled in life experiences. Married as a teenager and two children she survived a very abusive relationship, remarried she was destined to survive yet a second tumultuous marriage that lasted thirty-three years .
Jody traveled the country extensively, living in places such as the deep south, the west coast and finally settling in the mid-west where some of her family were located. It was there her husband passed on leaving her destitute and alone. She worked at the
air port in Wichita Kansas to earn money to return to Maine, but met someone whom she became best friends and a
year later married, keeping her in the Mid-West.
It wasn't until after Don and Jody wed, they were given the news Don was suffering from Leukemia. It was during his series of transfusions and intense treatment that Jody discovered the desire to share her stories, to dedicate her stories to people who need to relate, to walk with someone who knew well their pain, yet to find love and happiness along the way.
Today Don and Jody share a love that she calls "Heaven Sent". She hopes someday soon she can take her husband back east to show him the ocean, to walk the beach together and experience the passion she has for New England. Both Jody and her husband have a strong sense of faith, family values, and devotion to one another that makes her write even more, to let readers know that with faith and hope you can climb many mountains.view less
