I Thank you for reading it. I wrote Demons & Rabbits to offer the reader not only a sobering and graphic look at substance abuse, addiction, and the countless horrors that come with it, but also the dangers run-aways face every day. The book has a strong connection to my personal life. As the author of this book, I’m not ready to give up my anonymity. I wrote this because it was something I felt compelled to do. It is a gritty tale I’m not proud to tell. I do not want to be judged or labeled. I have had enough labels thrust upon me in life: abused, runaway, homeless, junkie, killer, prisoner, psychotic, depressed, cutter, suicidal, rehabilitated and so on. For once in my life, it is my turn to choose which label to wear. The one thing I’ve never been called is “ok”. In fact, I’m the opposite of “ok”. I am KO!view less
