Bill is the retired Woodson Professor of Law and Ethics in Business at the McCombs School, University of Texas at Austin.
He holds B.S. and MBA degrees from Louisiana Tech University, a J.D. from Tulane, and a LL.M from the University of Texas at Austin.
He taught graduate and undergraduate students at Texas for over 30 years, retiring in 2007. Professor Shaw published over 50 scholarly articles on law and business ethics during his career as well as four texts. He served as President of The Academy of Legal Studies in Business, Editor-in-Chief of the American Business Law Journal, and on the editorial board of The Journal of Business Ethics.view less
