She attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College where she earned a degree in Communication and Media Studies in December 2005. Shortly after graduating, she began her career as a full-time journalist for a local newspaper in Herndon, VA. In 2007, she became a stay-at-home mom where she continued her profession as a freelance reporter. She currently writes and edits for Patch, an online news and information platform. Leah currently resides in Leesburg, VA with her husband, Michael, and two children.view less
