Raising up in a dodgy neighborhood in Miami Florida was not easy, however, he used his difficulties as his greatest strength. Having the passion for writing and story-telling, Luigi dedicates himself to illustrate what he sees in his writings and poetry. He hopes to inspire not only those that are living in the ghetto but those that are going through hard times. Later, Luigi graduated college with an Associates in Film and then will pursue his Bachelors in Philosophy at the University of Florida. Despite the many performances at poetry lounges, this is his first poetry book and most likely not the last.
“Through poetry, my spoken words are verbalized to a meaning of a belief system. Like the slaves in History [blacks, Jews, poor], words of encouragement songs and rhythm is what kept most of them going, To me, poetry is what keeps me going. Taking a look at things from a different angle is what keeps me balanced especially when you have Jehovah in your life, speak three languages, holding an Associate degree in Film, and is enrolled in a Bachelors program for Philosophy at the University of Florida. I dream, which makes me a dreamer. I believe because I am a strong believer. My spoken words express my P.O.V. of life and what surrounds it because I am a poet.”view less
