Since my arrival I have done several jobs that include working as substitute teache...view moreAt 58 I just completed a nursing program and had worked as a certified nursing assistant while doing the program. Since my arrival I have done several jobs that include working as substitute teacher, hair braiding and became a certified teacher in Biology and Chemistry. I had been a science teacher in Nigeria for 15 years.
I just thought that I should write a book to air my views. At first, I did not know how to go about it but when I came across a book that encouraged me to just write what I could, I started by exploring my journals. AuthorHouse played a great role by editing. I will encourage anyone to do what I did because baby steps could grow to giant steps in the future.
I love to read Biographies of great people. I have read about ten American Presidents and other world leaders. Caring for people gives me pleasure; I could work hours on end without getting tired. While teaching I went back home to visit with my mother each year and the last time I visited she died two weeks after I left her. She told me that I would be a good nurse.
I am blessed with four children, two daughters, and two sons, the youngest is 27. I also have three lovely grand children.view less
