While attending Simmons College in Massachusetts, she fell in love and eventually married a Harvard graduate destined to become a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist. While raising their four children, Gloria wrote articles for local newspapers and small magazines. After all four graduated from college, she was restless for a career of her own. Following a congenial divorce, she moved to Cambria, a tiny town on the coast of California where she opened an art gallery overlooking the ocean, and a bouquet called Classy Rags, featuring hand-painted clothing. Gloria now lives in Ashland, Oregon, in a small house on a hill facing the morning sun, and continues to write. As often as possible she enjoys her four children, her eight beautiful granddaughters and two great-granddaughters and, surprisingly enough, she and her ex-husband still remain good friends.view less
