She has faithfully served a small congregation in Lakin, Kansas, for six years.
She spent many years teaching Sunday school for toddlers to senior citizens. She worked for many years at Wycliffe Associates, in prayer ministry and in communications. She has also acted as a freelance writer to a number of Christian ministries.
While serving as a hospice volunteer, one of her patients challenged her to continue her education and become a pastor, so that she could minister to others on a fulltime basis. At age fifty, she returned to school, and in three years, she completed both her BA in communications and her MDiv.view less
