The mixture of adapting to the dangers of the Windy City, as well as the rou...view moreBorn in Chicago, Tavorris Robinson spent his youth between there and his current home of Cleveland, OH. The mixture of adapting to the dangers of the Windy City, as well as the rough and tumble streets of Cleveland—served to shape his unique, eclectic perspective. Managing to evade many urban pitfalls, he channeled his creative talents into the arts—earning a degree in Graphic Design from VMCAD in 2004.
In 2005, he co-authored his first published work in, “No Place 4 Tha Righteous”, with Otis Pamplin. An urban fiction set in 1990’s Cleveland; it featured Joe Calloway, a kind-hearted young man trying desperately to survive the callous streets he was submerged in. While enjoying the mild the success of the first book, Tavorris ventured into music and management—working with Fokused Entertainment, before founding F.L.E. (Fast Life Entertainment) with rapper, 79Truth.
While working with countless artists on projects, Tavorris managed to complete his first solo novel, “The Deadman’s Curve” (Slated for release September 2011) as well as begin the sequel—tentatively titled, “A Woman’s Threat”. Though the title has yet to be released; reviews are signaling an impressive release from this young new author.
Tavorris Robinson lives in Cleveland, with his wife and two daughters.
