Six months after their marriage, she and her husband moved to Zambia where they pioneered the establishment of new churches in Livingstone and surrounding rural areas. They were disappointed when after a mere three years, policy changes within their denomination resulted in them leaving their mission work to the care and oversight of the African section of the church to pursue a new ministry pastoring white churches in Umtali in Zimbabwe and in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, where they established a number of new congregations.
Sadly, after twenty five years in full-time Christian ministry they were divorced. Out of the ruins of their combined ministries, she found a way to continue her passion to serve the Lord in diverse ways, in spite of working in secular positions. When she finally retired she started writing her memoirs, sonnets and poetry and this first novel. She has three children and four grandchildren and lives in East London, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.view less
