She has one son and two grandchildren.
Johanna has used her resources to help families in distress due to economic issues or the break-up of the family unit, providing them with daily necessities and financial assitance for a range of needs from school clothes to holiday gifts.
She expects her novel will provoke discussion about domestic abuse and how it is still prevalent in our society, forty years after the women's lib movement began. She hopes her writing will inspire both men and women to make smart decisions about life and where it takes them.view less
