- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Summary: Peter Cottontail is a rabbit that is getting into all kinds of adventures. He changes his name, outwits other woodland creatures and finally decides to hibernate. This story is clearly a classic.Personal connection: My mom used to read me this book when I was younger so it was interested to hear it from someone else. The different voices were interesting but I still prefer my mom reading it to me.Class use: Use this classic to teach students about fables, have them write their own.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Peter Cottontail gives eggs to all the other Rabbits on Easter, but one day Wily Wolf takes them all and hides them. They find out the wolf is jealous, and invite him to join in the first Easter Egg hunt.
