About this audiobook
Hear seven minutes of a 1959 interview with Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. This probing interview with Jung, considered the world’s greatest psychiatrist, provides a rare glimpse into his personal viewpoints and sheds insight into his pioneering work. Afterward, Jung was taken aback at the unexpectedly positive response from the general public. This strong interest in his work inspired Jung to write his final work, Man and His Symbols, his theory of the symbolism of dreams, explained in lay terms so as to be accessible to all who would come seeking answers.
Carl Jung
C.G. Jung was one of the great figures of the 20th century. He radically changed not just the study of psychology (setting up the Jungian school of thought) but the very way in which insanity is treated and perceived in our society.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is wonderful to hear Jung speak about his early life and the choices that led him to his great vocation.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Incredible. Very good sound quality. Very short but profound audio. I had been very dissapointed by the lack of audio C. Jung material on Scribd till now. I recomend this to any Philosophy lover. This recording has a very personal importance to me and my journey as an adult. I have felt tremendously different and misunderstood and recently since my mother and grandfather both passed into spirit. I have felt even more lost. This recording felt like home as I heard the founder of my personaly philosophy speaking, but as the speaker asked a slew of question C.J. gave answers that are not similar to, but Identical to that of my own. I have been searching for my placement and I recently asked myself each of these questions, and answered each of them as C.J. did.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Nothing exceptional. If it last longer i would not be listening to the end of it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This recording was great insight into the mind of Jung
