In the heart of Africa, veiled by mist and forgotten by time, lies a lost city. Here, a queen of unparalleled beauty reigns, cursed with immortality after a love lost millennia ago. Her name is Ayesha, and whispers speak of her power, her loneliness, and her relentless search for a love to conquer even death. Enter Leo, a young adventurer drawn to the city by a cryptic message. Ayesha believes he is the key to breaking her curse, the reincarnation of her soulmate returned at last. But within the city's crumbling walls, Leo finds himself entangled in a web of desire, danger, and a choice that could alter his fate forever. Will he succumb to the allure of Ayesha's ageless beauty and the city's hidden magic, or will he unravel the truth and escape the clutches of an immortal love?

H. Rider Haggard

Sir Henry Rider Haggard, (1856-1925) commonly known as H. Rider Haggard was an English author active during the Victorian era. Considered a pioneer of the lost world genre, Haggard was known for his adventure fiction. His work often depicted African settings inspired by the seven years he lived in South Africa with his family. In 1880, Haggard married Marianna Louisa Margitson and together they had four children, one of which followed her father’s footsteps and became an author. Haggard is still widely read today, and is celebrated for his imaginative wit and impact on 19th century adventure literature.
