About this audiobook

Í sígildri sögu Daniel Defoe fer ungi Englendingurinn Róbinson Krúsó á sjóinn til að verða ríkur og upplifa mikil ævintýri, en endar þess í stað strandaður einn á eyðieyju. Hér verður hann að nota alla hæfileika sína og hugvitssemi til að lifa af - sérstaklega þegar það blasir við honum að eyjan er ef til vill ekki í eyði ...Enski rithöfundurinn Daniel Defoe (ca. 1660-1731) er þekktastur fyrir skáldsögu sína "Róbinson Krúsó", en samhliða skrifum sínum lifði hann einnig spennandi lífi sem kaupmaður, blaðamaður og jafnvel njósnari. Daniel Defoe átti stóran þátt í upphafi skáldsagna á Englandi og skrif hans hafa haft mikil áhrif á sögu evrópskra bókmennta.
