Pity about the narrator. He finishes every sentance by raising his voice. EVERY sentence. It's most distracting. He isn't actually passing the information on, but rather just regurgitating sentences like he is DJing a radio station. Difficult to look past. Great content however.

Narrator is an absolut joke, to the level that I laughed at times, and that was probably not the intention. Book would have been better off just beng about shamanism, because the author is seriously lacking in knowledge about any and everything about anything Norse. Also making things up entirely, which is dishonest and weird. Three stars is a VERY kind review for this book. 3/5 would have been more appropriate if the "Norse" was left out of this book altogether.

The narrator is not a good fit for this kind of material. He sounds almost cartoonish like he is reading to children. But after the 5th time in 5 mins he referred to shamanism as “ Shamen-ism” I clicked stop then took off my list. Sorry
