About this audiobook
This book contains 2 topics, which are subdivided into a first and second section. The topics are these:
Topic 1: The history of African-Americans has been complicated and controversial. While some will fight against racism, others deny the severity of it throughout the ages. Whether or not the issue is as serious as it used to be, is a separate topic for debate.
In this guide, you will not read much about opinions but about facts. Society has come a long way since the inauguration of slavery and suppression of the minority in the United States. As leaders stood up and laws have been adjusted one by one, more freedoms have been secured to what nowadays constitutes about 10-20% of the population. Whether it’s enough, is another question that divides political enthusiasts.
You will learn more about the first slavery, the rise of the cotton market in the southern states, the abolitionism of slavery, the separation, and individuals like Martin Luther King and Malcolm X who have made a significant impact on the common perspective on these issues. Many things have changed over the past two centuries. Let’s find out what.
Topic 2: The Haitian Revolution has played a big role in the history of abolishing slavery. Its significant influence on the Civil War in the United States in the 1860s has probably been underestimated by many.
The English and French already had conflicts elsewhere, and the Napoleon wars greatly contributed to these disagreements. Aside from that, the nation of Haiti was still in its early stages, with plantations being populated by African slaves the settlers had captured and brought into servitude. Abuse and exploitation were common faces in many people’s lives, but the Haitian Revolution brought many changes to that.

Reviews for Black History

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Some of the very best tips about this specific idea are candidly being shared by the author. That's why I like it. Not only did this book sound like it was top quality, but it also showed me crucial things about life, and about this subject in particular, obviously. So, it definitely deserves a few hard-earned stars. Despite of the author's knowledge about the theme, the storyteller was still the element I was most satisfied with. This is what actually offered me on the writer's book.
