About Me I was born in November of 1968 on the island of Trinidad & Tobago. I was the fifth child out of seven born to Altoro & Glenda Lett. I migrated to the United States at the age of eleven and resided in New York City. I began working for New York Department of Education as an educator. I’m married with three children. I love the outdoors and the interaction with nature. I also love to travel, and I would like to see the world over to experience the culture of others. Why I Write? My inner soul has always cried for a cure. Writing has been that cure. My inner fears & broken relationships have led to a world of insecurities that writing has slowly mended. My writings have been a reflection of me and what I’ve experienced. As a result, my life has transformed it for the better as I allowed writing to impact my life in a positive way. Self-Publisher Poetry@13 INC was created to allow my work to be independent as a self-publisher and it has been a platform to express my thoughts to a diversified audience. As a self-publisher, my work will be futuristic and new to readers. I hope my books will help transform the world we all live in.
