What a rollercoaster! If you’re an Elite player, or simply a fan of sci-fi in general, this is a must read. Drew, as I’m inclined to call him over the more formal Mr. Wagar due to his personal informality and accessibility, paints a BEAUTIFUL galaxy and captures the personalities of the party’s involved so perfectly it was like he was in my head when I first turned on the game. This is such a masterclass filled with extraordinary visuals and exciting, deep characters, you won’t want to stop.

I admit I was skeptical about this book. I play EliteDangerous and enjoy the sim universe with all its storied background from the developers at Frontline. When I first heard the sound effects and the orator acting out the scenes I was immediately interested in hearing the rest of the story. The author captured the details of the ED lore and brought it to life with colorful characters and scenery. As a player of ED I hear all the sound effects , such as weapons fire , explosions, computer navigation and description of vessels were perfectly aligned with the fictions of the ED universe. Very immersive. Reclamation was particularly enjoyable to me because I could listen as I played, doing exploration and missions for data , which can be long because space is vast, added to my interest and the passing of long multiple FSD jumps. I recommend this audible story book show to teens and adults who enjoy the space adventure genre .
