- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It was a little overproduced. I didn’t like all of the sound effects and constant music in the background that distracted from the story. Some of it would’ve been a nice touch, but it was way too much. They should’ve spent more time editing the book and less time with these gimmicks, as there were a lot of grammatical mistakes, such as phrases like “where he was going to” instead of “wear he was going.” I also think they said “most prettiest” or something like that. The characters weren’t very well developed and I had a hard time remembering who was who! The narrator also pronounced some words oddly, like “gua ka mol” instead guacamole. He also sometimes said "My-yah," "Mey-ya," even "May-yer" for the character Maya's name. The inconsistency was weird!
