I enjoyed the setting and the premise of this story, but the execution of the story telling fell really flat. Right as the story got interesting, it ended. I’ve never read a book by this author before and I’m not sure if I’d jump to pick up another. Although this didn’t quite work for me, I would recommend it to historical fiction and romance lovers.
