It's Time to Remember the Alamo All Over Again!

powers. As in 1860, the country was on the verge of civil war. And as in 1860, a leader arose to save the country—but it was not the President this time. Instead, the Governor of Texas was the woman

This was a very entertainment book it's interesting to see the Democrats portrayed as the bad guys for a change normally it's always the Republicans.

Outstanding. I really loved this book. The writer told a story that a huge number of Americans are desperate to hear, but had sense enough to not let those readers have their way in everything. I hope the author sees this and is encouraged to write other stories in a similar vein, stories of defiance against tyranny here at home. That's the currently unmet need.

A great read on a possible future Civil War II. Full of possible if not probable events leading to and concluding our second American Civil War. Down to earth speculative fiction and good use current actual military hardware and tactics. Given the current political landscape in the USA (2016 election cycle) this may be a forerunner of events! An enjoyable read and one worth keeping to rerea from the Baen stable.

Tom Kratman has a theme -- explored in its early stages here. The occasional revolution is good for the body politic if the good guys win.

It was interesting, and OK, but nothing to really write home about. The characters were interesting while I was reading, but forgettable. The propaganda about how the military wouldn't fight Americans was kind of heavy handed.
