About this audiobook

The third and final novel in Paullina Simons’ unforgettable End of Forever saga concludes Julian and Josephine’s heartbreaking love story that has spanned lifetimes.

They were ready for anything…except the end.

Julian has lost everything he ever loved and is almost out of time. His life and death struggle against fate offers him one last chance to do the impossible and save the woman to whom he is inextricably bound.

Together, Julian and Josephine wage war against a relentless dark force that threatens to destroy them. The fight will take everything they are and everything they have, as they try once more to give each other back their unfinished lives.

As time runs out for the star-crossed lovers, Julian learns that fate has one cruel trick in store for them—and even a man who has lost everything…

…still has something left to lose.

Unfortunately, this is book 3 in a trilogy and it is taking time to get into this. At first I found the style disjointed and difficult to read. I was interested in this book as it featured London and time travel but I am not a great Romance Reader. I am going to see if I can get the first 2 books and start again. It is certainly worth reading but I am not a great fan of all the dialogue. I prefer Connie Willis' time travel books set in London.

This book is the conclusion of a series - Having not read the first two books in the series, it took me a bit to try to figure out what was going on and I felt that I missed some important pieces of the story. I would definitely recommend reading the first two books in the series before reading this one. I have read other stories by this author and very much enjoyed them as well. In this story, Julian travels back in time to find Josephine. I thought the description and details of WWII London were excellent. This book is a beautiful love story but you have to pay attention to the details because everything matters in the end. Overall another great book by Paullina Simons!
