- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great read-aloud for my third graders... they enjoyed the first person narration through the eyes of the painting, and Ruthie Knapp's note at the end about the actual theft in 1911 was informative and entertaining.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Did you know that 80% of all visitors to the Louvre go only to view the Mona Lisa? Did you know that the Mona Lisa is 500 years old? I do now that I have read this easy-reading picture book filled with interesting facts about the Mona Lisa and her painter, Leonardo Da Vinci. The bold colors used in the detailed illustrations and the first person account straight from the painting herself make this book a must read!
