Perhaps the finest book about analytics in football going beyond the easy stories on the suject (slightly dampened by an audiobook narrator with clearly no knowledge of football).

Great, interesting book! Awesome insight into the history of analytics in the beautiful game.

However, the narrator should've taken the time to learn pronunciations. Some of those were like nails on a chalkboard.

Highly technical but littered with interesting stories about soccer in recent times. Worth a listen if you are a devoted fan.
