Esther Ahmad grew up in an increasingly radicalized Islamic family. Despised and unwanted as a daughter rather than a son, her father considered her good only for cooking, cleaning, and washing—or better yet, as a suicide bomber. Only then could she, as a girl, bring honor to her family.
When Jesus appeared to her, days before she left for jihadi training, everything began to change. When she was discovered to be Christian, the imam gave her a month to live—with daily opportunities, private and public, to recant her faith. With only days before her father would kill her publicly—she escaped.
Ahmad tells many stories from the Qu’ran about women—with chapter and verse—and compares them to the teachings of the Bible. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5
