If disaster strikes, the world changes. Everything we've come to rely on is in doubt, and we often find ourselves with only our wits to get us through. Chances are there will be anarchy in the streets, public services will be restricted if they do not exist, and former safe havens can suddenly become death traps.
This helps everyone to learn and understand what is going on in a crisis and to take the right steps to ensure their own personal safety and that of those responsible for it. You will learn through the pages of this book:
- What everybody needs to know about disasters
- Basic disaster preparedness skills
- How to pack a bug out bag
- What you need in a first aid kit
- How to learn what to do about the earthquake, the storm, the flood, the landslide, and so much more.
With the wisdom found herein, you and your family will be able to venture out confidently knowing that you have the best weapon to protect yourself; your own imagination. Whether you're facing an earthquake, a storm, or a terrorist attack, we're going through the various steps you need to take in a variety of situations to ensure that you have the best chance of surviving a catastrophe.

Reviews for Disaster Survival Guide

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Humorous and informative, this book will have you prepared for any eventuality. Written by a physician, I especially appreciated guidance such as how to tell a stroke from everything else. The detailed list on what to include in your go bag along with other sage advice such as drive your car once a week to make sure the battery stays in good shape was all very helpful.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Only received today but had a brief flick through and it is full of useful knowledge. Only downside is that I live in the uk and stocking up on guns and shotguns is difficult - but I have bows and a crossbow and knives if needed and I use them wisely and stay within the law!! My air rifle is quite handy too
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It gives good advice for all types of preparation and some medical advice too. Happy I bought the book - you never know what is around the corner and it is always better to be prepared for it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I LOVED this book. I read it in 2 days and couldn't believe how unprepared we were. Well not anymore!! Thanks for the great tips dr John. Very practical and fun read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have purchased a few book on this topic, and this one is the way it should be done. He covers a variety of disasters and gives you exactly what action you need to take - often in just a few sentences!! very smart. I don't need paragraph after paragraph filled with fluff. I'm very very happy with this book and plan on purchasing a few more to give out to family and friends.
