- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I will admit right off that I chose this book because I was so intrigued by the cover. Yup, contrary to what they tell you, I DO sometimes judge a book by it’s cover!!
As it turns out, this short novella was quite enjoyable. Good writing with beautiful narration. A young man gets reeled in by a seemingly friendly slightly older fellow, proceeds to get into a lot more trouble than he bargained for(!), and soon realizes that making fast friends and getting chummy with people you don’t really know can be tricky business. As it turns out, the young man is not on such sure footing himself, filled with indecision, conflict, and uncertainty.
The book definitely held my interest and kept me wondering all the way through what was going to happen next! The author conjures up quite a cast of interesting as well as perhaps a little strange characters. All factors that, in my opinion, can make for very good listening/reading. Check it out!! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I enjoyed it. The reader makes it more fan as well
