Martin Edwards is the author of eighteen novels, including the Lake District Mysteries, and the Harry Devlin series. His ground-breaking genre study The Golden Age of Murder has won the Edgar, Agatha, and H.R.F. Keating awards. A story collection can be hit or miss, but I liked just about all of these (my least favorite being the last one...though the ending was clever). My favorite was the title story. The narrator's did a splendid job with the voices.
