In the 1800s, Louis Braille went blind as a child. He went to school, but he could not read any of the books. Braille came up with his own system of writing using dots. Years after Braille's death, many all over the world use his system.

Juliette Looye is a writer and a teacher who has written more than sixty books for children. For adults, she co-wrote the award-winning book, How to Read the Akashic Records: Accessing the Archive of the Soul and Its Journey with Linda Howe. While working in her own Akashic Records, Juliette was inspired to write Evie’s Adventure. It is based on a real-life child who is sprouting beautifully in the world. Juliette lives with her husband, Adrian, in Downers Grove, Illinois.
