About this audiobook
It's been three years since Lady Elizabeth Walsingham ended her childish crush on Laird Ian Munro, the fierce Highlander who scared everyone but her. She's a grown woman now, heading to London to find a proper English gentleman. But when the wild Highland laird walks through the door, she's that breathless youth all over again.
Ian tries hard to avoid the young lass who's confounded him for years. But now that they're attending court, he must keep watch on her night and day. Danger is at every turn, and advisers to the Crown are being murdered. Ian soon realizes that the girl he's been protecting is a beautiful lady who needs his help, almost as much as he needs her.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5what an excellent ending to the Spy Series. Very addictive!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The best out of the 3 book series, both Ian and Elizabeth are great strong characters, actually all 3 men were great. The women were OK too, well... Actually only Revena and Elizabeth, Grace was just... (don't get me started again!)
Not sure will listen to this author again, didn't find her style very good. Sadly this series is first and last books of hers will listen to. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I thought the mystery aspect could have been a bit more, but at least it didn't overpower their relationship. I didn't care for the middle book in this trilogy, but the 1st and 3rd were enjoyable. I will try more from this author.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I believe this is the last story in Victoria Roberts’ Highland Spies series and I liked it almost as much as the first book in the series.
Elizabeth and Ian were fun to be around and watch as they finally got around to be themselves and not who they wanted to be perceived to be.
I liked the setting of the story and the plot was intriguing, but what I liked the most is the dialogue between everyone in this story, especially Ian and Elizabeth.
If you're a fan of medieval romance and would like some men in kilts with a mighty brogue, this series is for you.
