About this audiobook
New York Times bestselling authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan are back together with a life-affirming new holiday romance starring Dash and Lily of Dash & Lily's Book of Dares!
Dash and Lily have had a tough year since fans watched the couple fall in love in Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. Lily's beloved grandfather suffered a heart attack, and his difficult road to recovery has taken a major toll on her typically sunny disposition. Lily's spark has dimmed so much that Langston, her brother, has put aside his grudge against Dash to team up and remind Lily what there is to love about life.
With only twelve days left until Christmas-Lily's favorite time of the year-Dash, Langston, and their friends take Manhattan by storm to help Lily recapture the holiday spirit of New York City in December, a time and place unlike anywhere else in the world. Told in alternating chapters, The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is bound to be a Christmas favorite for seasons to come.

Reviews for The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily
58 ratings4 reviews
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I was disappointed with this book. I loved both Lily and Dash when I first met them in "Dash and Lily's Book of Dares" but Lily's woebegone attitude and how she treated Dash soon wore thin and I found it hard to like her. While the first book was fun and quirky, this one was too depressing for my taste.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Despite not being head over heels for the first book, I still wanted to read this one, so I feel like that’s a good sign. Overall, it wasn’t too enjoyable because the relationship was strained, which translated to a not-so-delightful book. I’m not sure I’d read more of these characters.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I enjoyed this continuous of the love story between Lily and Dash. Like the first story there were some slow parts but there were enough funny and sweet moments to help overlook the slow times.I loved the adventures Lily and Dash would get into. I loved her whole family and she could not have a better boyfriend then Dash. I thought the times between Boomer and Sophia were nice and surprising. Of course the the issues with her grandpa are sad but they are life, at least her family and grandpa make the best of it. I would love to read more about this couple in the future.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A sweet sequel to the delightful original book. Lily’s part is a little draining, but it’s understandable with her age and all she’s going through. Perfect for the holiday season. This couple certainly loves their big romantic gestures. All the NYC mentions are a treat too. “There are some things you can’t control, and time is, like, number one on the list. Number two is the actions of other people.”
