‘We were ready for an adventurous project’

Emma and Terry Hazelwood had been tackling huge projects for other people for many years when they realised they wanted to take on a challenge for their own home.

‘We run a building and interiors company that specialises in listed barns, farmhouses and oast houses,’ explains Emma. ‘We got to the stage where we’d been doing these properties for everyone else, and wanted to do one for our family. Having previously completed small projects for ourselves, we knew the time had come to tackle something a little more adventurous.’
