As I mentioned in my column a couple of months ago, my daughter Katie has just turned 17, and it’s therefore time for her first car – a rather expensive business for Dad to put it mildly! There were three key considerations. Firstly, Katie’s car needed sufficient street cred for a young lady. Secondly, it had to be durable and reliable enough to satisfy me.
