1 NGC 6235
We start with NGC 6235, a mag. +8.9 globular cluster at the mid-point between mag. +4.2 44 Ophiuchi and mag. +4.5 Psi (ψ) Ophiuchi (off-chart). It also sits 1.2° northwest of mag. +5.6 24 Ophiuchi. This is a loose globular, 2 arcminutes across through a 150mm scope. The core has a definite elongation to it, but you won't be able to resolve any of the cluster's stars.
