Dear Classic American I really enjoyed the feature on the 1979 Cadillac Seville in last month’s magazine – what an extraordinary car, probably the last time Cadillac pushed the envelope in terms of producing a ground-breaking car that was commercially successful, while being technologically ground-breaking too. However, not only was that model remarkable, but that particular car was incredible in and of itself, having such low mileage and being so original and having been sold by the most famous and hallowed Cadillac dealership in the world: Hillcrest Cadillac of Beverly Hills.

All credit to the owner for realising that and for endeavouring to keep it as original as possible. What your writer failed to include in the story however, was that these cars were sold new in the UK in right-hand drive through GM concessionaires Lendrum and Hartman and there was even a
