Fantasy: WONDER WOMAN
As we now know from Jill Lepore’s fascinating 2015 book, the creation of Wonder Womanstarring Lynda Carter is set during WWII, so it’s Diana Prince versus the Nazis. In tonight’s episode, she is kidnapped by the “German Wonder Woman”, Fausta Grables (played by Lynda Day George). Steve Trevor’s rescue mission is, sadly, a dud.
