FINDING A BUILD IN A ROGUELIKE

Im not too proud to admit I am obsessed with roguelike deckbuilders. Ever since Slay the Spire first blew the doors off the genre back in 2017, moving cards around has been my default mode of existence—in the absence of anything else to distract me I will boot up my latest favorite and lose another hour to the decks.

There’s a lot of reasons they resonate so strongly with me—I’ve always liked card games, RPGs has helped me realize the main thing that keeps me coming back again and again: it’s the joy of finding a build on every run.
