Atom Man jumps to the moon and back

A COLLEGE student and her 153cm campaigner defied the odds to land the coveted Festival supreme pony workers for the second year running.

Competition was fierce but there was no denying Aoibhinn Ruane, 19, and her on-form home-produced Dartans Atom Man (Dexter).

Their path to glory also included a win in performance ranks, a second – on joint marks with the winner, Katie Wyse on Clareville Kodiac
