Penguin C51 fridge improvements

Penguin Refrigeration is replacing the compressors in its 51lt front-loading C51 marine 12/24V fridge with ultra-efficient new models from Italian marine manufacturer Vitrifrigo.

The Nano NextGen Compressor was designed specifically for mobile cooling applications. It’s an impressive 44% more efficient than existing typical compressors, so users should see a huge drop in power consumption. They are also 40% smaller and weigh only 1.4kg, representing a 67% weight saving.

Nano NextGen compressors offer full protection against electromagnetic interference, as well as reduced noise and vibration.

The improved compressors have been fitted to the C51 model
